In 2003, inspired by her London-Hong Kong heritage, Claire Judge created the women's luxury loungewear label, Alöe, which expresses this fusion of east-meets-west styles. Claire channeled her passion for design into creating this line of effortlessly chic silk loungewear and lingerie, designed to be seen and worn beyond the home.

Alöe enjoyed immediate success with prestigious stores including Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Barneys NY, Baycrew’s Tokyo, Fenwick Bond Street and Coco de Mer snapping up the collection.

Claire grew up spending time in Hong Kong with her grandmother and aunts, who wore traditional Chinese cheongsam dresses and trouser suits, crafted in fashionable western prints. It was a true blend of traditional Chinese and English style and this unique fusion informs the spirit of Alöe.

Claire went on to collaborate with H&M, designing a sell-out collection of lingerie and loungewear to launch their ‘& Other Stories’ brand in seven cities across Europe. 

Alöe enjoys a loyal and prestigious clientele, which includes Nicole Kidman, Kate Moss, Helena Christensen and Dita Von Teese. Claire's designs have featured in Hollywood films, dressing Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex And The City The Movie and Kirsten Dunst in Spiderman 3.

Vogue UK cited Alöe as its favourite loungewear label in ‘Vogue’s Secret Address Book’.
